Billboards that look back? WTH?

I was doing my daily viewing of news sites and reading stories and whatnot, and I came across this article in the New York Times entitled Billboards that Look Back. After things like Google having to wipe out faces and homes of those that complained about street views, you would think companies would have learned.

“Everything we do is completely anonymous,” said Paolo Prandoni

This is just too disturbing to me. I’m sure everything they do is anonymous, just like all the data by double click and name-your-least-favorite-online-ad-source. Privacy is going right out the window. We see how all that add information never makes it into public domain. Wonder how long it will take for the first set of lawsuits to come out when an underpaid employee decides to post videos and shots in a Youtube spot. :-)

Making it through day 5

Everything is going well, although I do notice that I’m not quite filled at meals. I’ve been eating more fruit and taking the single point hit here and there. I sneaked on the scale the other day, and I’m unofficially losing weight (4 lbs). So, who knows. I think I lose points daily as I lose weight, luckily we only weigh in weekly.

Ordered some new furniture for the porch the other day, and it all came in today. After I finished mowing the lawn and doing some other chores around the house, I headed over to Sears and picked it all up. After some assembly, it was all setup. The furniture is a bit bigger than what we had before, we opted for the coffee table setup with 2 chairs and a love seat. We didn’t do enough dinners on the porch to justify getting a normal table out there, plus this feels a bit more relaxed.
